If God Did'nt Want Me To Help Heal Others, He Sure Wasted Alot of Lifes Lessons On MeWhat Life is All About! 3月15日 March Break Well it is march break here in Nova Scotia....and being a School Bus Driver that means I get to have a week off....now with this week off I should be doing something exciting or anything other than walking around my house saying oh that needs to be done and this needs to be done and so on....So I have decided to not make any carved in stone plans I will do just whatever little ol Suzie wants to do....my daughter will be home on Wed from PEI she has a way of bringing excitement to the house weather or not we want it....LOL....I have been trying to figure out how to get people back here and off that friggin Facebook...Facebook was good when it first came out but I always have to wonder.......WHY FIX IT IF IT IS NOT BROKEN....and again they decided that we needed a new look to facebook well this time I am done with it....so if nobody comes to visit me on here well that is ok too it still gives me something to do  Not too much longer and racing season will be here....it is always a exciting time for us because we love it...live it...sleep it....and breath it....things will be a little different this year and that means change and I don't like change...LOL...but I will have to deal with it....well going to run for now and try to relearn how to use this place............have a great day and keep on smiling............Suz 3月1日 Woooo Hooo I'm Back Hey there everyone, well I am trying to get back to my space here, facebook has seem to have taken over everyone's life...LOL.....Well here in beautiful Nova Scotia we are getting freezing rain at the moment, I can't help but wonder if Winter is ever going to end...oh yes I know it will but this one seems to be draggin on and on and on.....we have had alot of snow days here this year, I just keep saying just making up for lost time...Ha Ha..... So I have booked my flight to California for July this year and can't wait.....last year I had such a good time, and seeing my friend Janet after 15 years was just wonderful, we had so much to talk about and laughed about all the things we did when we were little and our mothers, oh it is great to be able to sit back and talk about your mom's in a good way....we are some of the fortunate ones who had great mothers growing up and all through our lives that is for sure....I am really looking forward to going back and spending time with a person who has been a part of my life for almost 40 years and that is rare to be able to have a person in your life that long that you still love.....and like....:) I have been going down my spiritual path lately and it has been a good thing....I am not a person who goes to church but I have a true feeling that there is so much good out there and my Angels are really trying hard to push me in the right directions and I think I am going in that directions but still having a hard time seeing the big picture but I truly feel it will come to me.... Well this is my first offical day in Pasadena California...my plane trip here was awesome...imagine all that worrying for nothing....it was a really long flight though....yesterday I was pretty much burnt out when I got here combination of jet leg and this god forsaken cold....so Janet and I just chilled out pretty much I think I was in bed at 8pm...but have been up most of the night coughing....I think I am still in shock that I am actually here and just can't seem to wrap my head around the fact...well that's it for now, will have more to tell after today....
Tuesday July 1st....Happy Canada Day Well believe it or not this dang cold is still hanging on therefore it is making me a very unhappy camper....well today we took it easy in the morning Janet had some work to do, but then we got out shit together and went out walking to a place called Old Town Pasadena....so the sandles I had brought were not really good to walk in so we stopped at a shoe store and well I had to try on all the brand name shoes especially the pumps...LOL....Pretty Woman I'm not but it was fun...so I ended up buying a pair of flip flop tommy hilfiger flip flops and for anyone that knows me you know I am not into brand name things but I could not resist with the price...lol....so then we journeyed off to a cafe called Fred's Mexican Cafe and what a cool place, I wanted a real taco and I had two...lol...they were really good, and I also had a margarita oh man I did'nt think I would get that down being the non drinker that I am...ha ha ha...it was made with tiquilia (however you spell it) the first few sips were pretty hard to get down but after that it was all good....and then we had the ultimate brownie thing and oh man was that ever good, Janet and I could'nt eat it all...........we were both glad that we walked so that we could walk off what we had eated home....what a beautiful spot, the buildings the trees everything about it....and as much as I enjoy it here I said to Janet I would have a really hard time living here because I love my seasons, but my body has not been aching at all so maybe I need to live here...LOL....the evenings are so great to sit out on the balcony and no bugs just a beautiful breeze and the occasional hello across the way from the neighbours...well today we are on our way to the Price Is Right....I really don't figure I will get called down but hope that maybe I will....it is just really the excitement of it all anyways...and I am not allowed to take pictures inside...but oh well I can deal with that...so until then have a great day everyone....
Wed July 2nd/08
Well today was the day we were suppose to be on the Price is Right...but we got there around 12:30pm for the 4:00pm show and well we did'nt have a really good plan put together at all because people showing up for the 4:00pm taping were showing up at 6:00am and there were about 500 people there and they only take 325....I was so dissappointed I cried....but oh well next year....see Janet always goes with a VIP access and if you go that way you can't be a contestant and we wanted to be able to participate....so after that we left and drove down Hollywood Blvd and up towards the Hills....and then we came back into Pasadena and went to Target...everyone loves Target...LOL....we just walked around and dealt with our sorrow (well mine anyways)...LOL....so there is this place called Lucky Boy that we went to for supper and they make the best hamburgers around it was really good....
Well that's all for now....will write more when I have some more to tell...lol....Love and miss you all....Suzie 4月23日 Time To Come Back To My SpaceWell I think it is finally time to come back to Spaces Live...I really enjoy the fact that you can just come on and type type type...well yes it has been a very long time since I have written here and well really not too much has been going on, we have been in the new house for almost a year now if you can imagine...where does the time go...I have learned alot over the last year, that time waits for no one that is for sure...My baby is graduating this year and leaving home to go to PEI to attend Holland College so that is a very exciting adventure for her...Well that's it for now will get more into this as I go along 6月19日 Time Sure FliesWell time sure does fly when you are having fun, well we are in the new house, but things are still pretty hectic, Nancy's closing for her new house is not until July 2nd so we have 2 families living here and we are all having fun...LOL....school is almost over the high school kids started exams today so they will be all pumped up the next couple days and I am so hoping to be able to get one of the safe grad charters, I love being with the kids so much, they just keep me pumped up too.....well going to run will add some pics of the house as soon as I get my own computer back so take care and have a great week...Suz |
